Export preparations

The central location of Amstel Horse Hotel has repeatedly proven its efficiency in making export-preparations for horses with a destination outside the European Union.

Amstel Horse Hotel has very extensive knowledge on the different import requirements and procedures of countries outside the European Union. Through close cooperation with leading laboratories and the Food Safety Authority you can rely on an efficient and skillful handling of the procedure prior to export.

Quarantine stables and paddocks  


Our stables are divided into different sections, so that multiple pre-isolation procedures for several countries can take place simultaneously. Only authorized personnel have access to the quarantine-stables.

We are the only stable in the Netherlands where quarantine-horse(s) are allowed to go out in VWA-approved paddocks for some fresh air and stretching their legs. The paddocks are equipped with a 'four seasons' ground, allowing the horses to keep their feet dry despite the unpredictable Dutch climate.
